CrOCl (Chromium Oxychloride)
CrOCl is a layered transition-metal oxyhalide and an antiferromagnetic semiconductor/insulator. It has a quasi-one-dimensionally anisotropic magnetic structure, with low-temperature antiferromagnetic order (Néel temperature ≈ 14 K) accompanied by a magneto-structural transition; as an insulating antiferromagnetic spacer, CrOCl is often used to build heterostructures with graphene and 2D semiconductors, tuning transport and correlated states through interfacial coupling.
Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).
Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 3 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.
Exfoliation: Easy — readily cleaved into thin flakes by standard mechanical exfoliation.
