TiTe₂ (Titanium Ditelluride)
A layered van der Waals transition-metal dichalcogenide with the 1T (octahedral) structure, space group P3̄m1. It is a well-established semimetal with a small band overlap, valued as a model system for angle-resolved photoemission studies of quasi-two-dimensional electronic structure and, in the monolayer, as a candidate for charge density wave order. Its clean semimetallic bands make TiTe₂ an important reference material for studying low-dimensional electronic structure and correlated instabilities.
Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).
Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 3 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.
Exfoliation: Easy — readily cleaved into thin flakes by standard mechanical exfoliation.
