Te (Tellurium)

Te is an elemental tellurium single crystal composed of helical atomic chains packed in a hexagonal lattice, a p-type semiconductor with strong optical anisotropy. It is studied for piezoelectric, thermoelectric and polarization-sensitive photodetection applications.

Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).

Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 3–4 mm, with a purity of up to 99.999% (5N), and 2–3 high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.

Exfoliation: Moderate — weak interchain interactions allow exfoliation into thin flakes and nanoribbons.
