PtSe₂ (Platinum Diselenide)
PtSe₂ is a 1T-phase layered noble-metal diselenide with a strongly layer-dependent band structure: it is semiconducting in the mono-/few-layer limit (the gap widening as the layers decrease) and becomes a type-II Dirac semimetal in the bulk. Combining high carrier mobility, excellent air stability, and low-temperature epitaxial growth, it is a prominent material for field-effect transistors, infrared/terahertz photodetection, and topological semimetal research.
Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).
Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 2~3 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.
Exfoliation: Easy — readily cleaved into thin flakes by standard mechanical exfoliation.
