MoWS₂ (Molybdenum Tungsten Disulfide)

MoWS₂ is a molybdenum–tungsten sulfide alloy with the nominal formula MoWS₂, adopting the layered 2H structure of the transition metal dichalcogenides. It represents the intermediate composition of the MoS₂–WS₂ alloy series, combining the characteristics of both end members with a tunable band structure.

Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).

Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 3–4 mm, with a purity of up to 99.999% (5N), and 2–3 high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.

Exfoliation: Easy — readily cleaved into thin flakes by standard mechanical exfoliation.
