MnPSe₃ (Manganese Phosphorus Triselenide)

A transition-metal phosphorus-chalcogenide layered van der Waals magnet, space group R3̄. The hexagonally arranged Mn²⁺ ions couple antiferromagnetically within the plane (Néel order, T_N ≈ 74 K) and exhibit easy-plane anisotropy. The material is regarded as a candidate for two-dimensional antiferromagnetic spintronics and may host XY-type magnetism and topological spin excitations; long-range magnetic order can persist even when exfoliated to the monolayer, making it an important platform for studying low-dimensional magnetism and magneto-optical coupling.

Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).

Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 3 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.

Exfoliation: Easy — readily cleaved into thin flakes by standard mechanical exfoliation.
