This series consists of layered van der Waals magnetic topological materials (space group R3̄m). Substituting Mn for Ge on the cation site continuously tunes the magnetic ground state, ordering temperature, interlayer exchange coupling, and Fermi level, making it an ideal materials platform for studying the quantum anomalous Hall effect, axion-insulator states, and magnetically tunable topological transport.
The complete compositional gradient enables systematic composition–magnetism–topology studies without cross-referencing samples from different sources.
