KMnSiTe₃ (Potassium Manganese Silicon Telluride)

A layered manganese-based ternary telluride magnet in which Mn²⁺ ions form a magnetic sublattice separated by alkali and silicon-telluride layers. It hosts antiferromagnetic (or low-dimensional) magnetic order derived from the localized Mn²⁺ moments, with the layered structure promoting quasi-two-dimensional magnetic behavior. The combination of a magnetic transition-metal sublattice and a van der Waals-like layered framework makes it a candidate for studying low-dimensional magnetism and magneto-transport in Mn-based chalcogenides.
