FePS₃ (Iron Phosphorus Trisulfide)

FePS₃ is a layered transition-metal phosphochalcogenide (MPX₃ family) and an antiferromagnetic semiconductor. It exhibits out-of-plane Ising-type antiferromagnetic order (Néel temperature ≈ 118 K) that persists down to the monolayer, making it one of the first materials in which magnetism was confirmed in the two-dimensional limit. Its magnetic order couples strongly to the lattice and Raman phonons, and with a band gap of about 1.5 eV it is a classic material for research on 2D antiferromagnetism, magnons, and spin–lattice coupling.

Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 3 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.
