ZrTe₂ (1T phase) (Zirconium Ditelluride）

A layered van der Waals transition-metal dichalcogenide with the 1T (octahedral) structure, space group P3̄m1. It is a semimetal and a candidate Dirac / type-II Dirac semimetal, exhibiting topologically nontrivial band features and, under certain conditions, charge density wave or superconducting instabilities. These properties make 1T-ZrTe₂ an important platform for studying topological semimetal physics and correlated electronic orders.
