YbMnBi₂ (Ytterbium Manganese Bismuthide)
A layered magnetic topological material, space group P4/nmm, in which two-dimensional Bi square nets host Dirac fermions while the Mn sublattice provides antiferromagnetic order (T_N ≈ 290 K). The interplay between magnetism and the relativistic Bi-net band structure yields quasi-two-dimensional Dirac dispersion and canted-antiferromagnetism-induced Berry-curvature effects, including a large anomalous Hall response, establishing YbMnBi₂ as an important platform for studying magnetic Dirac semimetals and Weyl physics.
Growth method: Flux growth.
Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 1~2 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.
Exfoliation: Difficult — strong interlayer bonding; mechanical exfoliation typically yields thick flakes, and ultrathin flakes are challenging to isolate.
