TaS₂ (2H phase) (Tantalum Disulfide)
¥4,428.00
A layered van der Waals transition-metal dichalcogenide with trigonal-prismatic coordination, space group P6₃/mmc. It is metallic and hosts a coexisting charge density wave (onset ~75 K) and superconductivity (T_c ≈ 0.8 K, enhanced in the few-layer limit). The interplay between CDW order and superconductivity makes 2H-TaS₂ an important system for studying competing electronic orders and two-dimensional superconductivity.
Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).
Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 2 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.
Exfoliation: Easy — readily cleaved into thin flakes by standard mechanical exfoliation.
