SnS₂ (Tin Disulfide)

A layered van der Waals metal dichalcogenide with the 1T (CdI₂-type) structure, space group P3̄m1. It is an earth-abundant, non-toxic indirect-bandgap semiconductor (~2.2 eV) with high electron mobility and a strong photoresponse. These properties make SnS₂ a promising material for field-effect transistors, visible-light photodetectors, and photocatalytic and water-splitting applications.

Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).

Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 6~7 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.

Exfoliation: Easy — readily cleaved into thin flakes by standard mechanical exfoliation.
