Pd₃P₂(S,Se)₈
A layered van der Waals ternary palladium phosphochalcogenide with a honeycomb-related lattice and a mixed S/Se anion sublattice. It is a wide-bandgap semiconductor with tunable optical and electronic properties achieved by adjusting the S:Se ratio, and features flat-band-related electronic states. Its chemical tunability and layered structure make Pd₃P₂(S,Se)₈ a candidate for two-dimensional optoelectronics, photodetectors, and band-structure engineering.
Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 3 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.
Exfoliation: Moderate — exfoliable by mechanical exfoliation, but isolating thin flakes may require repeated cleaving or optimized methods.
Growth method: Flux growth.
