A transition-metal phosphorus-chalcogenide layered van der Waals antiferromagnet, space group R3̄. The Fe²⁺ honeycomb lattice orders antiferromagnetically (Néel order, T_N ≈ 110–120 K) with strong out-of-plane (Ising-like) anisotropy. It is a magnetic semiconductor in which long-range order can persist down to the monolayer, and under high pressure it exhibits insulator-to-metal and superconducting transitions, making FePSe₃ an important platform for studying two-dimensional magnetism, pressure-tuned Mott physics, and emergent superconductivity.

Growth method: Chemical vapor transport (CVT).

Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 5 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.

Exfoliation: Easy — readily cleaved into thin flakes by standard mechanical exfoliation.
