Bi₂SeO₅ (Bismuth Selenite Oxide)
A layered van der Waals bismuth oxyselenide high-κ dielectric, notable as a native two-dimensional insulator compatible with semiconducting Bi₂O₂Se. It offers a large dielectric constant, wide bandgap, and atomically flat, dangling-bond-free interfaces, making it a promising gate dielectric for two-dimensional electronics. The Bi₂O₂Se/Bi₂SeO₅ semiconductor–insulator pair can be obtained by controlled oxidation, providing an intrinsic channel–dielectric platform for high-performance 2D field-effect transistors.
Sample specifications: Individual crystals measure approximately 2~3 mm, with a purity of up to 99.9999% (6N), and multiple high-quality single-crystal pieces included in each package.
Exfoliation: Moderate — exfoliable by mechanical exfoliation, but isolating thin flakes may require repeated cleaving or optimized methods.
Growth method: Flux growth.
